About Vancouver

For those who enjoy more urban activities, Vancouver has wonderful shopping, dining and nightlife. The city offers ethnic and fusion cuisine for all tastes. The Vancouver Art Gallery hosts world-class exhibitions; concerts, plays, art shows and recitals dot the city nightly.
Vancouver also has activities for the whole family.  Science World is a fun way to engage your kids in science with interactive exhibitions and demonstrations; the Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park is a chance to see west-coast marine life up close and personal; the Granville Island Market is a great place to enjoy the buskers and get an ice cream - just to name a few of the family-friendly activities the city offers.
With such a wide range of attractions - beautiful scenery, vibrant culture, and family-friendly fun—it's no wonder Vancouver is a tourism destination.
Wednesday, July 7 is a free afternoon, during which we are offering a number of excursions to all conference delegates and companions. This is your chance to explore the incredible city of Vancouver. Tour registration, payments, and any tour-related questions will be handled by ICS (International Conference Services).  Read more here.
